As some of you may have already heard, with Jim’s departure for Arkansas, I will be working with the Pipe ministry on an interim basis while the search committee completes the important work of finding our new youth pastor. You should receive a letter in the snail mail this week from Reverend Novak. But, since I’ve already spoiled the surprise, you can read that letter here:
As stated in the letter, Matt will also be helping out with Pipe during this time. Matt is a great friend and teacher, and I think he has a lot to offer our students.
For now, I want to take the opportunity to do an introduction, of sorts, so that everyone has a better sense of who we are, where we come from and why we are excited about the future of the youth ministry at First Prez.
